Butterfly release packages for Texas events

Choosing a butterfly release package for a Texas event starts with how you want people to participate. We sell Painted Lady butterfly packages for weddings and memorials, with individual envelopes and release box choices. Clearwater Butterfly is based in Chuluota, Florida. Contact us with your Texas destination and event date to confirm availability.

Give us the exact receiving address, not only the venue name or nearest large city. Include the destination ZIP code and tell us if the person receiving the butterflies will be somewhere other than the event site.

Compare Texas butterfly release package choices

Choose the release format before deciding that a larger quantity is the better purchase. Individual envelopes give selected people their own role. A release box puts the opening of the box in the hands of the couple or designated participants, with everyone else watching.

Package What’s included Consider it when
Wedding Package #2 50 Painted Ladies in individual envelopes; envelope color and personalized inscription choices You want guests or family members to participate individually.
Wedding Package #4 50 Painted Ladies in one release box You prefer one designated release point rather than distributing individual envelopes.
Wedding Package #5 100 Painted Ladies in two release boxes Your ceremony calls for two people or groups to hold the boxes.

The first two choices have the same butterfly quantity but different presentation formats. That distinction matters more than comparing the package numbers alone. With two boxes, plan where both holders will stand and how they will hear the cue.

For a remembrance gathering, our memorial release collection provides packages for that occasion. Decide with the family who wants to participate; the full attendance count does not have to determine the butterfly count.

Check current product pages for prices and available selections. Ask about the complete order cost with the destination and event date in hand, including delivery and the options you choose. Avoid setting your budget from a package price without reviewing the rest of the order.

Settle who receives the shipment

If your Texas venue is remote, gated or staffed only during events, ask who can actually receive a delivery there. Give that person the proposed delivery arrangements before using the venue address. A wedding booking does not mean someone will be at the gate or office when a shipment arrives.

If a relative or planner proposes receiving the butterflies elsewhere, discuss that address and the trip to the venue with us before ordering. Keep the receiving location and the release location clearly labeled. Do not substitute an address late in the process without reviewing the change.

Name one person to receive the order. Give them the package details, order instructions and the event organizer’s contact information. If they will hand responsibility to someone else, agree on that handoff in advance rather than leaving the shipment with whichever vendor arrives first.

Make the package part of a workable ceremony

For individual envelopes, allow a place in the schedule for distribution and a short explanation of the cue. For release boxes, name the holders before the ceremony. Ask the photographer where they need to stand without making promises about butterfly flight or photographs.

Plan for an outdoor, daylight release. Check the forecast for the event location, not the city where you placed the order. The National Weather Service has separate Fort Worth/Dallas and Houston/Galveston forecast offices; use the city or ZIP-code search for your actual venue. Ask us about conditions for the proposed time and discuss a non-release ceremony option if the outdoor plan cannot proceed. An indoor reception space is not a substitute release location.

Ask the venue about permission for a live release at the exact site. USDA APHIS’s butterfly release guidance separately explains that permit consideration depends on species, origin and destination. A package listing is not confirmation of every Texas shipment or venue.

Texas package questions

Does a larger guest list require a larger butterfly package?

No. Choose quantities around the release format and intended participants. A couple-led box release can involve the whole gathering as observers without giving every guest an individual envelope.

Are release boxes included with every package?

No. The comparison above distinguishes individual envelopes from packages with boxes. Read the selected product’s inclusions and options before ordering rather than assuming all packages use the same containers.

Can we use a rural venue as the delivery address?

Discuss its exact address, ZIP code, receiving contact and access arrangements with us. Ask the venue who will be present to receive the shipment. Do not rely only on its general event-office address.

What information helps us choose and order?

Send us the event details, preferred package and intended number of participants. Include the release location and proposed receiving address, plus any gate or staffing questions, so the order discussion starts with a practical plan.
