We offer painted lady butterflies by the dozen with each butterfly enclosed in a beautifully decorated envelope of your choice OR select a release box for only $5 per box. Each release box can hold up to 12 butterflies. We guarantee that our Painted Ladies will arrive alive and healthy!

Considering a wedding release? Couples can choose to have a personalized inscription of the bride and groom’s name or other custom inscription on the envelope at no additional cost. The envelopes can be opened all at once to fill the reception with an incredible spectacle of wedding butterflies. You can also give each envelope to your guests to release individually to the delight of everyone. As each butterfly emerges from the beautiful package, a guest can make a wish and watch as it is taken up to the sky to be granted. You can buy some extra painted ladies for picture taking too.

There is nothing as exciting as taking your vows on the wings of the beautiful creatures. The painted lady butterflies are loved for their ability to linger at the scene, often landing on your shoulders, bouquet or among your guests. Order today to make your wedding day even more magical. How many Painted Ladies should I order? For an optimal experience with individual release envelopes, we recommend 1 butterfly per guest.

About Painted Ladies

• Very similar in color to Monarchs.
• Upon release, Painted Lady butterflies tend to stay around longer than the Monarch because they are attracted to a variety of plants in the area.

DELIVERY:
Tuesday - Saturday Releases: $52.00 for S&H (Priority Overnight Delivery). Sunday Releases: $68.00 shipping for Saturday deliveries. Butterflies are shipped to arrive 1 day prior to the day of the event. Please be sure someone is available to sign for the package when it arrives. It will be necessary to provide a frozen ice pack to replace the one that’s in the box upon arrival.

BUTTERFLY GUARANTEE:
We cannot guarantee a successful release if you release the butterflies in inclement weather, or if your release day temperature is below 70 degrees. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT RELEASE THEM IN THE RAIN. An alternate plan is to display the butterflies as a centerpiece. Simply cover a basket with tulle, tie it with a ribbon and use it as a display cage. The butterflies can live out their lives in the basket, or you can release them on a nicer day. THE RELEASE MUST BE MADE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS AND MUST BE OUTDOORS. Due to unforeseen circumstances, should any butterflies arrive deceased, please call us within 24 hours letting us know. We may ask for a few pictures to verify proof. We ship approximately 2-5 extra butterflies to compensate for potential casualties.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A full refund will be issued if the order is cancelled a minimum of 30 days prior to the event. Cancellation 29 to 8 days before the event will result in a 50% refund. Cancellation 7 days or less before the event will result in no refund. We do not refund monies due to inclement weather.
